American Burundian Culture Development and Follow - up.

GOALS:

The main goals of “ AMERICAN BURUNDIAN CULTURE DEVELOPMENT AND FOLLOW - UP are following.

  • To offer relief services to distressed refugees / asylees and new legal Immigrants.


  • To contribute to their social, culture and economical integration in their new environment.


  • To aid, assist, direct, and guide foreign - born professionals from any country who have immigrated to the UNITED STATES in adjusting to and adopting to the American social, cultural educational and career.


  • To counsel, train and retrain such foreign - born so as to imbue them with the necessary language and work skills and proper attitudes to facilitate their integration into the American workforce and society at large.


  • To assist legal immigrants with their career planning and development in all phases through counseling, staging of social events, demonstration programs, classes, workshops, exhibition, recreational entertainment, and so for designed to socialize them and familiarize them with the American way of life.


  • To assist members to foster long term community growth and to keep a delinquency and drug free community environment.


  • To prepare and maintain a community and family service center mainly for the benefit of families having children of minor age who face dissolution of the family by divorce, incarceration, separation and the like, or who face foster care placement, and/or psychological, social, cultural, economical, or emotional disfunction that are attendant to such family dissolution.
    In general to guide and assist families toward rehabilitation and stabilization through counseling and imparting of relevant information and workshops designed to socialize and familiarize the party with what it takes to achieve a stable family life and how to attend and maintain such and other related support services and programs aiding family rehabilitation and stabilization.


  • To operate and maintain community service center for the benefit of children youth and parents in order to enable the to become gainful Employees

  • . To promote youth program organizing them into cultural and recreational clubs intended to provide counseling and support in order to prevent them to stay away from dangerous activities such as the use of drugs, alcoholism, smoking, keep a drug free community environment and lessening the community tension.


  • . To provide material assistance, moral and educational support to refugees, displaced and vulnerable people ( women, men, children, and orphans) in Burundi, in Africa, as well as in other regions of the world.


  • . To contribute in the promotion of peace, prevention and pacific resolution of conflicts in Burundi, in Africa, and other countries of the world and promote the spirit of negotiation, dialogue. Also ABCDF will promote cultural and social understanding among people through education.


  • . To contribute in efforts to fight HIV, malaria, and poverty, in Burundi country, Africa and in the world through education and organization of local initiative for development


  • To make Burundi country known throughout the U.S. by exhibiting Burundian drums, songs, and dances.


  • To introduce some products from Burundi country into the UNITED STATES and the U.S. products to Burundi. Example: Burundi (coffee, tea, and art products) the U.S. (agricultural machine, medical materials, scholar tools, computers, fishing materials (boats) and cars). In this area, the ABCDF will work with various sponsors and donors.


  • To trade cultural and donate materials on relative prices in making active the organization by composing directors and employees of ABCDF incorporate.
